Position Summary
North Bennet Street School (夜色视频app) seeks an accomplished, strategic, and relationship-driven fundraising leader to serve as its next Chief Advancement Officer (CAO). Reporting directly to the President and serving as a key advisor to both the President and Board leadership, the CAO will lead the next chapter of philanthropic growth for one of the nation鈥檚 most distinctive and historic educational institutions.
The Chief Advancement Officer serves as 夜色视频app鈥檚 senior fundraising leader and is responsible for providing strategic direction and oversight for all aspects of the School鈥檚 philanthropic enterprise, including major gifts, annual giving, foundation and corporate relations, planned giving, stewardship, donor engagement, and development operations. Strong candidates will bring a proven record of securing and closing major gifts, leading comprehensive fundraising programs, and building high-impact relationships with donors and volunteer leaders. They will be equally comfortable setting strategy, managing complex fundraising operations, and personally engaging in cultivation and solicitation activity. Pay Range
The compensation range for this position is $120,624-180,990. Position Summary
In the Carpentry department and along with the Department Head, the Instructor is responsible for delivering the approved course curriculum to the students as well as assisting with administrative duties related to the department. The Instructor must be an accomplished carpenter and an organized and thoughtful instructor committed to high-quality work, presenting the theoretical, technical, and practical material involved in the Carpentry trade to adults of varying learning styles and experience.
The Instructor helps prepare and present instructional content using existing departmental material and curricula and creating new material. Methods of teaching in the program include lecture, demonstration, one-on-one assistance, guest presentations, multi-media demonstrations, and directed projects in the classroom, in workshops, and during site work and field trips. In addition to classroom and shop work, the class completes on-site projects such as: sheds, decks, additions, garages. These real world projects serve as examples for estimating, site preparation, and construction. The instructor will assist with evaluating student performance and be responsible for tracking student attendance. Prior teaching experience is preferred. A good work ethic and excellent communication skills are a must. Clean driving record necessary. Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) or ability to obtain one required.
In addition to teaching, the instructor is responsible for assisting with department administrative duties, ordering tools and materials, coordinating site work with clients, and maintaining a safe environment. Responsibilities also include attending faculty meetings, advisory committee meetings, required staff meetings, and after hours events such as Open House, faculty development seminars and workshops, and fundraisers.聽

The Carpentry program teaches adults entering the trade the theory and practice of residential construction including framing floors, walls and roofs; door and window installation; interior and exterior finish; drafting; hand tool and machine use.
The class size is 26-30 students, ages 18 and older. Students come to the program with a range of woodworking/carpentry experience from very little to a moderate amount. All students have completed high school and some have college degrees. The Carpentry facility includes a large construction area, a dedicated machine shop with dust collection, tool storage, and an office for the faculty.
The daily teaching schedule is 7:30 am-4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday during the academic year (September through May). During the summers instructors are free to pursue other work. There is a two-week break at the end of December, a one-week break in March, as well as approximately ten paid holidays.
Requirements, Working Conditions, & Physical Demands
- Clean driving record
- Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) or ability to obtain one
- Five years experience working in the Carpentry field
- Prior teaching experience is a plus
- Strong and dedicated work ethic and excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office Suite
- Must be able to frequently walk up and down stairs
- Able to push and pull, bend, stoop, kneel, and move around to work on construction of all kinds, as well as walk and stand for long periods
- Able to lift, to carry, or maneuver tools and materials weighing up to 50 lbs., also while climbing a ladder
- Able to move from kneeling and sitting to standing repetitively with ease

Salary & Benefits

Position Summary
The Accounts Payable & Payroll Specialist is responsible for the full-cycle administration of accounts payable and payroll functions and plays a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of the School. This position exercises independent judgment in interpreting policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, resolving complex discrepancies, and improving financial processes.
The Specialist partners with Finance and HR leadership to ensure accurate financial reporting, payroll compliance, and effective internal controls. This role requires a high degree of discretion in handling sensitive financial and employee information.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable
- Oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and adherence to internal controls
- Review and approve vendor invoices for appropriate coding and policy compliance
- Manage payment processes (check, ACH, wire transfers) and cash disbursement schedules
- Reconcile vendor statements and proactively resolve discrepancies
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and independently resolve escalated issues
- Lead 1099 preparation and support quarter-end and year-end close activities
- Partner with the Bursar鈥檚 Office during financial aid disbursement cycles
- Evaluate and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen controls
- Assist with audit preparation and serve as a primary contact for AP-related inquiries
Payroll
- Administer bi-monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Interpret payroll regulations and apply appropriate tax, deduction, and benefit treatments
- Maintain and audit payroll records, including hires, terminations, pay adjustments, and benefits changes
- Manage payroll tax reporting, retirement plan contributions, and related reconciliations
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and reporting for Finance leadership

Qualifications
- Associate鈥檚 or Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounts payable, payroll, or general accounting
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment in applying accounting principles and payroll regulations
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and ERP systems
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred
